I do agree that rivnuts will be a better option than pop rivets, but typically when installing something like the Bargman LED Double Tail Light - 5 Function - 18 Diodes - Colonial White Base - Red and Clear Lens # 47-84-001, you can also just use screws to attach it. This will usually be a lot easier and less expensive than either option. With that being said, the rivnut option would keep everything a lot cleaner and easy to replace if you ever need to again. view full answer...
